Description About The Role – Who You Will Work With ... SourceAmerica is searching for a Senior Specialist, Accounts Receivable to join its team. This position is the single point of contact for all assigned NPA accounts, including but not limited to assuring that all invoices are collected and booked with the correct project numbers, AbilityOne fees are properly calculated and reflected on SourceAmerica’s statements, fee payments are collected and reconciled in a timely manner, any discrepancies between SourceAmerica’s fees and payments are resolved proactively, and project-related issues such as expired service contracts are communicated with product managers in a timely fashion. This position helps connect our network of over 400 Non-Profit agencies with federal procurement opportunities across the United States! Our network of Non-Profit Agencies (NPAs) performs service and product contracts for Federal agencies and help employ over 30,000+ people with disabilities nationally. The ideal candidate will be based near SourceAmerica’s National Office in Vienna, VA (greater-Washington, DC metro area). What You Will Do ... As a Senior Specialist, Accounts Receivable, your work functions will include but are not limited to the following. A full position description will be given to candidates at the time of the interview. Enter invoices into the accounting system. Generate and review monthly reports to identify NPAs who have not submitted invoices. Place calls or email to request invoice copies, as necessary. Reconcile cash received to invoices before the deadline. Place calls or email to NPA representatives as necessary to determine proper crediting of cash received. Resolve all check related issues, such as rate discrepancy, adjustment request, and contract issues. Communicate and provide support to internal and external customers for A/R and contract issues. Other responsibilities will be assigned as organizational needs arise. Salary Range The salary for this position falls in a range between $55,352- $82,080 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States. What We Are Looking For ... Associate degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution instead of applicable skills training. SourceAmerica recognizes 1.5 years of experience = 1 year of college, should the candidate not meet the educational requirement. 2 years of relevant work experience in accounts receivables, invoicing, or other accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles, accounts receivable process, including invoicing, tracking payments, and resolving discrepancies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex receivables issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on developing a positive rapport with company employees at all levels as well as customers. Preferred Bonus Points For... Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution. In-depth knowledge of both company and regulatory policies, practices, procedures, and standards related to accounts receivable. Knowledge of federal contracts invoicing. Experience working for a NPA organization. We use Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) as our primary business application system for much of our office processes— experience with D365 or using similar methods is preferred. Work Environment Our organization offers both a hybrid work model—where employees work in our office two to three days per week and work from home the balance of the workweek—as well as a fully remote work model, depending on the job requirements and one’s proximity to one of our offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, or the Washington, DC-area.
