Summary
*This position supports our Behavioral Health Team in the ED as an Emergency Dept. Psychiatric Evaluator.
JOB SUMMARY: Ensures that all social services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital Center, Acting in a lead capacity or in complex situations, is responsible for direct and indirect services for patients, families, and community members of all ages in the CHC area. Advises patient, families or members of our community on social issues, may arrange discharge and aftercare at home or in institutions, may arrange for foster care or nursing home placement, financial assistance, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling from an accredited Program required.
- 2 -4 years of clinical experience required - Experience in acute in-patient or psych social work experience preferred
- LSCW-C or LCPC license required. May also consider LMSW licensed candidates that have relevant background/work experience
