Join us on an exciting journey of growth and innovation as a Permanent Preconstruction Manager. We are a leading player in the construction industry, known for our top-notch projects and a team of highly skilled professionals. We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced individual who will play a critical role in our preconstruction processes. Your expertise in estimating, commercial projects, and blueprints will be leveraged to ensure our projects' success from the get-go. This role requires a minimum of 7+ years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in preconstruction management.

Responsibilities:

As our Preconstruction Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Leading and managing the preconstruction process, ensuring all aspects are completed efficiently and accurately.
2. Utilizing your expertise in estimating to provide accurate cost projections and budget development for our commercial projects.
3. Reviewing and analyzing blueprints, plans, and other project documents to identify potential issues, suggest solutions, and ensure all elements align with our quality standards and client expectations.
4. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure a seamless transition from preconstruction to the construction phase.
5. Providing technical advice and proposing innovative ideas during the planning stages.
6. Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, negotiating contracts when necessary.
7. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure our preconstruction processes are at the forefront of the industry.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Preconstruction Manager role should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in preconstruction management.
2. Proven expertise in estimating, managing commercial projects, and interpreting blueprints.
3. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
7. Knowledge of relevant construction regulations and standards.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining high-quality standards.
9. A team player who can also work independently when required.
