Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians is seeking a Clinical Lead (RN) to join their Scioto Family Physicians office located in Dublin, OH. The Clinical Lead is a Registered Nurse (RN) who collaborates with the Office Manager on administrative oversight of training, compliance, and development of the clinical team. The lead provides clinical leadership, mentoring, and technical support to the clinical team to ensure quality of patient care. This is a full-time position working first shift hours Monday- Friday.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists in training/orienting new and current staff. Acts as a resource to clinical personnel and assists with complex issues.
Responsible for daily schedule of work assignments and operations. May cover team’s work responsibilities to ensure work is completed.
Manage and organize supplies for clerical and clinical staff. Properly disposes of expired medications and regularly checks expiration dates. Ensure supply organization so staff can easily access supplies.
Creates the Clinical Staff schedules monthly.
Develop effective working relationship with Office Manager, COPC physicians, and staff.
Manages storage, inventory, and coordinates with Manager to order supplies and medication.
Maintains and implements COPC policies and procedures. Ensure control logs for equipment and supplies are being maintained properly.
Maintains strictest confidentiality and is HIPAA compliant.
Records patient medical, social and family history. Measures patient vital signs (blood pressure, weight, height). Completing injections, blood draws and EKG's for patients.

Experience

Previous experience in a Lead role preferred.

Education, Licensures & Certification

Required: High School Diploma or GED
Required: Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
Preferred: 3-5 years of clinical experience
Preferred: 1 years in a senior or lead level position

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of medical terminology
Knowledge of Electronic Health Records system preferred
Ability to work flexible hours
Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines
Ability to lead by example
Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to a changing environment
High functioning team skills, including active listening and team building
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in phone triage department or on the clinical floor
Ability to administer pediatric immunizations
Knowledge of wound care/bandaging
Ability to perform urine catheterization
Process referrals and pre certifications for diagnostic test ordered by physicians
Obtain pre authorizations for prescriptions
