What's the role?

The Regional Manager is responsible for the implementation and execution of marketing strategies through their direct reports in a pre-determined geography (within the New England market). This position is responsible for delivering the key performance indicators for his/her region on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis as defined and outlined by the market organization (MO). Additionally, the Regional Manager is responsible for people development through coaching, modeling, and developing the future leadership pipeline of the organization. People management responsibilities include: overall performance management of the team via Hilti’s source and select process, Hilti People Review process (HPR), and my development process.

What does the role involve?

Responsible for Value Creation in the region through the influence, motivation, direction, and development of the Sales Team. The purpose of the role is to recruit, train and motivate the sales team to exceed target and maximize profitable growth in the region. The role involves advocating systematic account development through the implementation of initiatives to achieve sales and product goals, the development of customer relationships, and sustainable profitable sales growth. The job holder needs to take an active role in the management of key customers and major projects within the region.

Day to day you’ll report to your Division Sales Manager, who will also be there to help you manage your career.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience leading a team of field-based, solutions-oriented sales professionals.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engaged customer relationships and effectively implement strategic concepts.
  • Excellent time and territory management skills.
  • Must be persuasive, sales driven, customer focused, and a team player.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite, and smartphones.
  • Must maintain a professional business appearance in accordance with HNA dress policy at all times.
  • Career advancement may require domestic and/or global mobility.
