Howmet Engine Products is looking for an Integration Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to collaborate with production sites to upgrade production processes with advanced control systems and seamlessly integrate new technologies into their workflow. The Integration Engineer will serve as a crucial link between the Howmet Research Center (HRC) and Rings production facilities, ensuring a continuous improvement in capability and control, and a smooth implementation of projects and technologies. This position is based in California in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and Fontana, CA. Potential travel and assignments could include Rochester, NY and Suzhou, China.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with plant personnel to understand needs and prioritize development of improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with HRC and vendors to develop new capabilities and technologies slated for implementation.
- Collaborate with production sites to assess their needs and requirements for integrating new capabilities and technologies into their operations.
- Develop comprehensive integration plans, considering production constraints and objectives.
- Coordinate and facilitate successful handovers of HRC controls upgrades and technology projects with the production facilities, ensuring all necessary documentation, training and support are provided.
- Provide technical expertise and support during the implementation phase to troubleshoot any integration issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies into the production flow.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of integrated technologies, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on development and integration progress and address any concerns or challenges.
- Develop and maintain best practices, guidelines, and documentation related to technology integration processes.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
- 3 years' experience in technology integration or project management.
- Strong understanding of production processes and workflow.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Proven problem-solving skills and attention to details.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree preferred
- Technology integration or project management experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Experience in a forging environment
- PMP certification
- Familiarity with industry-standard technologies and tools for forging processes
- Experience in Aerospace forging using titanium and/or nickel-based superalloys is a plus
