The Commercial Customer Service Representative will perform duties independently with minimal supervision, operating from established directions and instructions. Decisions are made within general company policy constraints and insurance laws and require independent decision-making.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
- Working with Account Manager to follow agency procedures for processing:
- New Business
- Renewals
- Endorsements
- Cancellations
- Audits
- Billing/Financing
- Certificates/EPI/Schedules of Insurance/Auto ID Cards
- Payments
- Participate in Education to obtain Property & Casualty Insurance License. Developing and Maintaining a knowledge of insurance coverages and exposures and the markets available.
- Customer Service:
- Provide an exceptional customer experience. Communicate with internal and external customers in a friendly, professional, and patient manner.
- Perform all duties with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
- Immediately address any customer’s concern. Request involvement of other firm personnel as required. Notify Commercial Lines Manager of any major concerns and the action taken to resolve.
- High School diploma / GED required with up to one (0-1) year of industry related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Willing to get licensed in Property and Casualty within 6 months of employment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
