Job Details

Requirements:
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics
  • 8+ years' experience building automation equipment, conveyors, robotics, jigs, etc...
  • Ability to supervise other machine builders and subcontractors
  • Vocation education / training, preferred
  • Knowledge of 5S principles
  • Open to 10-20% travel throughout the region

Day-to-day:
  • Build equipment per specs
  • Work with engineers to fine-tune designs and overcome obstacles
  • Safely operate mills, lathes, drill presses, welding equipment, grinders, saws, etc...
  • Oversee subcontractors throughout the building and installation process
  • Maintain documentation for changes and feedback
