Industrial Civil Engineer

Job Type: 12 months contract (potential to extend) Work Schedule: 60hrs/week including weekends (60hrs is the cap). Travel: 5% (Only Domestic) Responsibilities: Serve as "Subject Matter Expert" related to Civil, Structural systems. Work with internal stakeholders to develop project criteria, scope, estimate and project schedules. Provide internal review of CS system drawings from outside engineering firms to support system implementation. Ensure compliance with related local, state, national codes, facility operations and company standards. Shop drawing review, RFI processing and Kanban completion for ACS systems. Coordination of weekend and plant shutdown work with contractors, plant facilities groups, and manufacturing groups. Conduct work progress inspections on a continuous basis. Support construction administration activities related to schedule coordination, quality confirmations, weekly coordination meetings, and planned utility outages. Requirements: Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Major: Civil / Structural Engineering) Civil Structural background Field experience would be very good to have. Required Qualifications: 5+ years in Civil design field 2+ years in construction management. (Industrial/Commercial Building) – MUST HAVE Experience in design criteria development for Civil Structural systems. Automotive experience with engine, transmission, or vehicle facilities or similar industrial manufacturer. Good organizational skills, communication skills, schedule management skills. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project. Additional Desired Qualifications: Bluebeam, AutoCAD
