Job Type:1099 Contracting Position
Position Overview: As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive psychological services to students enrolled in virtual schools. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess, diagnose, and support the social-emotional and academic needs of students. This position is a 1099 contracting role, allowing you the autonomy to manage your schedule while contributing to the success of students in a virtual learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' academic and behavioral needs
- Provide counseling and consultation services to students, parents, and educators
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in virtual meetings, conferences, and professional development activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Virginia licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience in virtual or remote service delivery (preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to use technology effectively for virtual assessments and meetings
- Must pass a VocoVision technical screening (showing knowledge of the platform Zoom)
