SRI' Surveillance Lab in Ann Arbor, MI is developing, facilitating, and partnering on powerful, world-changing technology in surveillance systems; radar and radio frequency (RF) system engineering and signal processing; and ocean modeling. The Surveillance Lab is currently searching for interns to support their ongoing work. The interns will gain real world experience while supporting on-going research and development in advanced radar processing and/or electro-optical/infrared systems. They will get to apply and extend skills in various domains such as signal processing, high performance computing and machine learning to the surveillance application.
Interns will be expected to demonstrate algorithm concepts through modelling and simulation via Python and/or Matlab programming. Preparation of reports and presentations will also be required.
- Due to government contract requirements candidates must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Experience with Python programming and strong math fundamentals required
The salary range is: $20-$30/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
