An award-winning and patient care centered hospital in the Sierra Nevada Mountains is actively interviewing for a new Director of Nursing for their Skilled Nursing Facility.
This community hospital has been serving its surrounding communities for over 50 years. In addition, this hospital is accredited in many areas, but notably has a glowing record in their Skilled Nursing Facility. The Director of Nursing will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community and across California.
The Director of Nursing will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer of the hospital. This person will be supported by a manager, and a team of dedicated staff RNs and LVNs.
The Director of Nursing is expected to uphold the highest standard of care and lead their team in Joint Commission Accreditations. The Director of Nursing will need the ability to oversee all nursing services, ensure compliance with regulations, promote a culture of excellence and quality care, and create an environment filled with collaboration among the healthcare team. In addition, they will Organize, direct, plan, assess, implement, and lead the nursing services of the Skilled Nursing Facility.
