Homewatch CareGivers - Windsor has an opening for a compassionate 24-Hour Live-in Caregiver (CNA, HHA, PCA, or another experienced caregiver) to provide assistance to a client in their home. If hired, you will enjoy making a difference in the health and well-being of your client(s) by providing companionship, assistance with tasks in the home, and providing hands-on care with daily hygiene, transfers, and other activities of daily living.

Current Opening:

  • We are currently seeking a bubbly, female live-in caregiver to assist a friendly, female client in her home. 
  • This client has a small dog (Bichon) and needs assistance who homemaking, companionship, and personal hygiene

Schedule:

Live-in caregivers remain at their client's home for 2 to 5 consecutive days with the same schedule typically being repeated each week. If preferred, a continuous live-in appointment is also available. Each 24-hour day is divided as follows:

  • 13 hours allotted for providing care to the client
  • 8 hours allotted for sleep
  • 3 hours allotted for personal time (breaks)

Each client is unique and job responsibilities vary according to the needs of the client. Common responsibilities include:

  • Assist with personal hygiene, transfers, and ambulation.
  • Provide homemaking including meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
  • Provide personalized care and companionship.
  • Medication reminders
  • Monitor, record, and report changes to health and well-being.
