Concessions Associate

Job Description:

The Concession Staff is responsible for serving food and beverages to customers providing excellent guest service, stocking, cleaning as well as handling sales transactions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ability to provide excellent guest service while working in a very fast paced environment.
2. Serve food, beverages, or desserts to customers.
3. Proper cash handling including, greeting and service guests at the registers, taking orders, and accepting payments, handling cash, debit and credit cards.
4. Participate in the set-up of concession stands, arrange inventory of supplies, and communicate shortages of deficiencies.
5. Stock and restock items as necessary.
6. Adherence to a uniform/costume policy and grooming standards must present a neat, professional appearance.
7. Insure all sanitation procedures are followed relating to all local licensing regulations.
8. Perform clean-up duties after each shift and ensure that concession areas are sanitized and organized.
9. Expected to provide excellent guest service skills to enhance customers experience and meet the needs of customers with a positive attitude.

Education and Experience Requirements:

1. Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
2. Prior food or retail experience is preferred but not necessary, including POS systems and cash handling.
3. Expected to be able to communicate clearly with patrons about customer services, products, and programs.
4. Have current food handlers permit or obtain a food handlers permit within the first 15 days of hiring.
5. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs and stand, stooping, and bending for long periods of time.
6. Available to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
7. Must have a positive attitude and be able to work in a team environment.
8. Have the ability to multitask and be self motivated.
