Maintenance Engineering Technician

Position Description:

This position will engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production, including troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution, and equipment modification. In addition, the Maintenance Engineering Technician will be involved with basic mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure operation of machinery
• Communicate directly with the production department to coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas
• Prepare and manage periodic preventive maintenance schedule
• Keep records of all preventive maintenance and troubleshooting works
• Coordinate with outside sources to schedule maintenance for more complex issues
• Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintains a safe work environment following all safety requirements
• Prepare and maintain maintenance related documents (ie. daily reports and check sheet)
• Manage projects in cooperation with and under the direction of Management or a Manager
• Plan, budget, oversee, schedule, track, and document all aspects of assigned project(s)
• Establish project scope and customize project plans
• Work closely with upper management to ensure the scope of each project is on schedule
• Monitor project progress, identify issues in advance, and initiate appropriate escalations
• Identify and determine scope of work related to 3rd party needs
• Interact and communicate with all stakeholders from different lanes of business
• Perform updates with executive leadership and escalate any issues that will impact cost, schedule or budget
• Other equipment maintenance and repair tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or associated degree and equivalent experience
• Fluent in English and Korean
