Position Overview

Our Security Team is responsible for ensuring that our property is secure for our guests to enjoy, and for maintaining a safe, family-friendly environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• As with all positions on our team, live Team Outsider’s values, helping to create extraordinary experiences for our guests while performing the responsibilities of your position.
• Ensure that all guests and team members are provided with a safe environment at all times.
• Manage and mediate all conflicts, directing individuals who cause a disturbance or violate the rules of the campground to leave the property when warranted.
• Monitor entrances and exits, and prevent unapproved entry.
• Patrol the entire site, checking for unsafe conditions.
• Ensure that facilities are opened and / or closed during specified hours.
• Respond to emergencies in a prompt and orderly manner.
• Properly document any occurrences.
• Always maintain a neat and well groomed appearance, wearing appropriate team attire and name tag.
• Provide superior guest service by being attentive, responsive and helpful to guests' needs.
• Report all guest problems, requests or complaints to the campground's General Manager.

Experience & Requirements

• Basic training in emergency response, CPR and security protocol.
• A passion for customer service and the outdoors.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to hear and speak clearly, and communicate comprehensively.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 80%).
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb.
