Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the daily operations of the Mattoon, IL facility. This will include working with shipping coordinators to process, route, schedule and enter shipping information. This also includes working with the receiving, production and shipping teams to receive, produce, pick, pack and ship to customer specifications. This position has a high degree of interaction with employees in multiple facets of the organization.

Responsibilities
* Responsible for staff scheduling to include; work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, overtime assignments, back-ups for absent employees, temporary employment, Schedule and participate in Company-wide department meetings.
* Coordination of inventory, warehousing, material handling, and packaging. Also includes inventory reconciliation, problem resolution.
* Develops, analyzes, and presents reports, including but not limited to: productivity and safety. Conduct, lead, or implement the appropriate process audits; the audits will identify the need for the appropriate containment, corrective, and preventive actions, leading to minimizing or eliminating process deviations and non-conforming product root causes.
* Oversees operational training of new employees and continual training of existing employees on production changes, safety issues and products. Administer and investigate accidents, attendance, and process disciplines along with corrective action counseling.
* Monitor International Warehouse operations, including shipments from Mattoon.
* Perform back-up duties as required, including filling in for co-workers and assisting in the end of day process for office staff. Including scanning, processing orders, routing shipments and any other office tasks needed.
* Actively participates in a continuous improvement team environment while ensuring you contribute positively to providing total customer satisfaction while improving the environment.
* Participates in Physical Inventories.
* Traces any shipments at request of Customer Service Department.
* Provides information related to orders, changes, and status of delivery to management, corporate customer services, etc.
* Maintains records and files related to own work. Organizes records and work efforts to assure timely accomplishment of tasks.
* Inspection of outgoing orders to ensure accuracy. Including LTL, Grainger, Uline, etc.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
* 2 - 3 years Supervisory experience in a warehouse/distribution- Required
* Fork lift experience - Required
* Ability to prioritize and organize demanding workload in a fast-paced environment
* Strong decision-making.
* Assertive, persuasive and diplomatic - excellent interpersonal skills
* Able to process work flow and solve problems.
* Knowledge of shipping, distribution and order fulfillment, both domestic and international.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred but not required.
* MAPICS, BOSS and SYTELINE experience preferred but not required.
* Basic mathematical skills required.
* Frequent movement through office, plant and warehouse Ability to step upon and down from platforms as needed.

Physical Demands
Rarely pushes, pulls, reclines, crouches, kneels, twists, climbs, balances, crawls, reaches horizontally, below the waist, above the shoulder, or uses manual dexterity. Occasionally lifts, carries, stands, and squats. Frequently sits and walks.

Working Conditions
Rarely deals with low temperature, high temperature, wetness, slippery surfaces, moving objects, vibration, confined spaces, high elevation, oil, explosives, electrical hazards, toxic conditions, low humidity, high humidity, chemical irritants, or odors. Occasionally deals with the outside. Frequently deals with the inside and noise.
