Shipping and Receiving Clerk 1st shift

Adecco Staffing is assisting a facility in Bourne MA staffing for a Stockroom Clerk on 1st shift!

**Hours: 1st shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm**

**Pay: $17-$20/hr DOE**

**Job Description:**

The Receiving Department provides service and support to Production, Engineering, Sales and Marketing. The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for all Job Order kits to the Production Floor for assembly of products, maintaining stock levels on the Production Floor racks and cells, as well as the stockroom warehouse and cycle counting material.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

1. Pulling material from the stockroom shelves in a FIFO manner, reading a BOM (Build of Material), organizing that material into a Kit, verifying counts and labeling the Kit and transacting those parts in Syteline.

2. The daily task of stocking and restocking the Production Floor Benches and Racks. Making sure the stock is available to all floor personnel as well as making sure the material racks are neatly displayed and organized. This done twice a day in a timely fastidious manner so there is a consistent workflow.

3. This task involves counting parts and material in order to maintain consistent stock levels in the Stockroom. Hand counting and/or weighing the material using the provided scale is an essential task throughout the entire Production Floor and the Shipping & Receiving Departments.

4. The Clerk will assist in maintaining an organized, safe stockroom by removing trash and cardboard daily.

**Experience and Education**

This position requires good eyesight, reading skills, attention to detail, reliability, and flexibility.

Familiarity with ERP systems is helpful.

This position requires familiarity with inventory control techniques and shipping methods.

Planning work and being able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks is critical.

Basic computer literacy is required for this position.

High School Diploma or GED

**Pay Details:** $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
