Job Description

Our Children’s Behavioral Health program is conducting a search for a Family Training & Support Case Manager- Bachelor’s level candidate to provide services to children with behavioral health issues, and their families, to maintain and improve their level of functioning in the community and at home. Specialized knowledge of children’s behavioral health and treatment of serious emotional and/or behavioral disturbances is a must. As part of the treatment team you will develop, design, and implement treatment plan goals and objectives.

As an advocate for clients, you will work as a liaison between the mental health system, DCYF, criminal justice system, school, and other treatment providers to ensure case goal plans are being met. This position is responsible for providing education and support focusing on effective parenting strategies. The Family Training & Support Case manager will educate clients, their families and significant others, regarding behavioral and developmental issues. A critical aspect of this position is to link families to appropriate community resources, so knowledge of programs is essential.

Education/Licensing Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of experience working with children and families. Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance.
