Position Overview: Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a rewarding career opportunity? Join our team in Quinlan, TXas a full-time School-Based SLP. This position offers the unique chance to work with elementary school students, providing essential speech and language services to enhance their academic and social success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and goals to address students' specific needs.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech and language challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication development.
  • Maintain precise records and documentation of student progress.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Stay updated with the latest best practices and evidence-based techniques in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Possess TX state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • While prior school-based experience is advantageous, it is not a requirement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine commitment to helping children achieve their communication goals.
