Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair activities for all machinery in the sheet metal shop.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they impact production.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities, minimizing downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems in press brakes, shears, lasers, spot welders, and lathes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history.
- Collaborate with purchasing team to ensure an adequate supply of spare parts and necessary tools.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor and/or maintenance technician in a sheet metal fabrication environment.
- In-depth knowledge of press brakes, shears, lasers, spot welders, and lathes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
