We are currently seeking a remoteSchool Psychologist to join our team for the second half of the2023/2024 school year for a MichiganSchool District. Position Overview: As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive psychological services to students enrolled in virtual schools. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess, diagnose, and support the social-emotional and academic needs of students. This position is a 1099 contracting role, allowing you the autonomy to manage your schedule while contributing to the success of students in a virtual learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' academic and behavioral needs
• Provide counseling and consultation services to students, parents, and educators
• Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate in virtual meetings, conferences, and professional development activities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Michiganlicensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience in virtual or remote service delivery (preferred)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to use technology effectively for virtual assessments and meetings
• Must pass a VocoVision technical screening (showing knowledge of the platform Zoom)
