Nidec Minster Corporation has an opening for a full time **Warehouse Associate**. This is a fast paced environment, tasked with picking, shipping and completing computer transactions for repair orders to our customers located throughout the world. This position is expected to work 40- 50 hours per week with occasional opportunities for additional hours. Operation of a forklift is essential in this position. Flexibility in personal schedule in order to meet customer expectations and ship dates will be required on occasion. We have openings on 2nd shift and weekend shift.

**DUTIES** * Receives, counts and records shipment data into the system.

* Matches packing list information to actual packed merchandise.

* Prepares packages/merchandise for storage.

* Record receiving data using computer.

* Pack, unpack, and mark stock items.

* Identify incorrect/short shipped items and immediately notify supervisor.

* Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated area.

* Verify computations against physical count of stock.

* Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects.

* Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).

* Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

* Must be 18 or older.

* Computer experience is essential.

* Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.

* Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills.

* Moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs) Frequent lifting, pushing of supplies and equipment.

* Prolonged standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending and kneeling.

* Must be able to operate a forklift after training.

* Must be able to work independently and follow instructions regarding priorities of tasks or functions.

* A positive attitude and safety minded work ethic.

* One (1) to three (3) years of warehouse experience preferred.

* This position may filled through a contract service initially.
