Job Description: Perform regular evaluations of the performance of staff members Train new employees and upgrade the skills and knowledge of present staff Schedule medication observations and MAR reviews with the medical trainers and staff as needed Design training programs for new employees or skill enhancement plans for the current employees. Create ways to ensure that employees are performing within the competency level required by the agency. Be certified or willing to be certified to train American Red Cross First Aid and CPR, Crisis Prevention Intervention and Medication Administration Provide employee orientation training and maintain required training to meet licensing requirements. Support employee inquiries, suggestions and any grievances Conduct assessment on staff performance and other office-related aspects to see the potential and current problems. Create innovative solutions to work-related problems based on the research done. Follow up on all staffing issues. Move forward with coaching, write ups, and corrective actions as necessary. Complete supervisor reviews monthly. Complete medical, field and program reviews to ensure compliance with regulations. Interview/hire /advertise when needed to keep overtime as minimal as possible. Follow up with any inquires or applicants on our social media pages in a timely manner Ensure that all trainings required by 6400 regulations and BAS are complete and up to date. Rotate in an on call schedule with other QLS managers
