Job Description
Primary Registered Nurse – Crivitz and surrounding areas
The primary Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the overall care of the patients and families. The primary RN directs the activities of other nursing personnel and works in conjunction with interdisciplinary team members.
Schedule: Block schedule - 7a-4p with Wednesdays off, working every 4th weekend rotation (either 7a-3p or 3p-11p) , 2 holidays per year, call back up rotation 6-10 times per year (may change when needed)
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:
As a Primary Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical and case management based on the patient's diagnosis and end-of-life symptoms. You will complete initial, comprehensive, and updated assessments of patient and family needs. Report any significant changes to physicians and team members and provide consistent documentation while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations. Additionally, you will provide education to the patients and families, administer medication, and complete new admissions, all while providing supportive and compassionate care to patients and their families.

Shares in providing 24-hour, seven-day-a-week coverage
Prioritize daily work and make adjustments taking into account the needs of patients, Unity, and other staff.
Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Unity.
Satisfy mandatory training requirements regarding local, state, and federal regulations and/or Unity’s policies and procedures.

Requirements:Qualifications:
1. Current unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Wisconsin (RN must practice under the law and regulations governing nursing in the state of practice).
2. At least one year of Registered Nurse experience.
3. Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance coverage.
