We're looking for someone to join our team as a Clinical Supervisor who:

The Clinical Supervisor (CS) is responsible for assisting overall day-to-day operations of the health center. The position functions as the onsite representative of the Practice Manager (PM) and ensures best practices are exercised. The CS functions with financial understanding of operating a business and is the first point of contact for patients, employees, and providers with questions and/or concerns when the PM is not on site. The position will also provide nursing care utilizing evidence based clinical guidelines and nursing processes in accordance with the established standards of care. The position will ensure the best possible experience for patients, staff, and providers. The position works collaboratively with all staff to ensure efficient patient flow, management of provider schedules and continuous communication to meet the need of patients. The CS will work collaboratively with all multidisciplinary areas including Behavioral Health, CPSP, WIC, Eligibility, Facilities, and other CSV departments. The CS must respond timely, professionally and understand health center priorities.

Essential Functions:

  • Clinical Supervisor will set a climate of open and frequent communication to include Leading Huddle, discuss open care gaps, clinic flow, scheduling, and other duties as assigned.
  • Manage staff by assigning and delegating tasks as needed.
  • Work with providers to enhance number of patients served and address open encounters.
  • Ensures health center and team are meeting all quality improvement guidelines and requirements by health plans, county, state, and federal entities, as well as accredited auditing agencies.
  • Monitors practice’s progress through reports and dashboards for overall health center efficiency.

  • In partnership with the PM determine and maintain efficient staffing levels and create monthly work schedules.
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures function in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • For CSs that have direct reports, approve payroll and manage time off requests.
  • Effectively use resources to optimize productivity.
  • Responsible for the order of medical supplies, office supplies, and equipment.
  • Training of new nursing and MA staff.
  • In partnership with the PM perform introductory and annual employee reviews, competency forms, and annual reviews.
  • Review employee timecards for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal laws, and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Performs nursing tasks within their scope of nursing for the health center.
  • Maintain the required clinical logs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

  • RN or LVN degree required.
  • Basic Life Support card required.
  • Must have proven leadership qualities.
