We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Production Welder at our Des Moines, IA facility. The shift is 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, Monday - Friday with the possibility of overtime. Starting pay is $23.72/hour and may be higher depending on experience.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  1. Operate MIG gun welders - pulse.
  2. Operate weld fixtures.
  3. Read drawings and build special forms and/or equipment from mech. drawings.
  4. Use and read measuring tape accurately to 1/64.
  5. Perform other tasks as assigned by supervision.
  6. Record labor accurately on work order and time sheets.
  7. Perform quality audit process.
  8. Operate material handling equipment.
  9. Clean work area on daily basis.
  10. Perform routine preventative maintenance.

Machines, Tools, and equipment used:

Successful applicant will also use the following tools and equipment to complete their assigned tasks: MIG gun weld unit, weld fixture, hammer, chisel, tape measure to 1/6 or 1mm, face sheet lifts, material handling equipment, cutting torch, air arc.

Education & Skill Requirements:

  • Knowledge of welding and procedures - pass weld test.
  • Read mechanical drawings.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
