Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

NP or PA needed to support healthcare system in Quincy, CA.  Sign on and incentives available  '  As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you’ll be responsible for the assessment, medical case management, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and referral of clinic patients seen at the North Fork Office, Quincy Office or Indian Valley Office. The APP may be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant so they can plan patient care using skills specific to his/her individual training and experience and works under established protocols. Responsibilities

•  Demonstrates knowledge and ability to gather data pertinent to patient plan of care / assessment. Performs appropriate patient intake related to compliant, medical, social and family history.  Utilizes patient chart, hospital chart or emergency room records to gather data when needed.
•  Performs medication reconciliation and gathers information on adverse drug reactions, allergies and idiosyncratic reactions.
• Performs appropriate physical assessments. Has ability to complete thorough physical exam on male and female patients commensurate with licensure and to understand normal variations.
•  Demonstrates knowledge of laboratory reports, x-ray reports and has ability to interpret their effect and influence upon patient care management.
• Promotes health by considering preventative health measures..'
