Electrician Journeyman

Position Description:

• Electricians with Journeyman's card, or 7+ years of direct electrician experience.
• Must have experience in a manufacturing environment on manufacturing equipment – NOT facilities maintenance.
• A qualified journeyman electrician with construction or facilities experience is not a fit.
• Electric work must be on machines in the manufacturing environment, in any industry (automotive preferred)
• Experience industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, high voltage (medium voltage), 480V, 120V, down to 24 volt DC circuitry.
• PLC experience, Allen Bradley preferred
• Familiar with going through the parameters of Program Frequency Drives (controls engineers help with this but familiarity is important)
• This is a CNC Machining facility, so having CNC experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines preferred.
• We will consider candidates heavier on PLC's and lighter on CNC's or vice versa, who meet all other qualifications

Required skills and capabilities:

• Min 7 years of troubleshooting proximity switches, light screens and safety circuits, cables, ethernet, etc., experience
• Min 7 years of experienced with PLCs, CNCs, Frequency Drives, motors, and associated circuitry
• Familiar with going through the parameters of Program Frequency Drives
• Journeyman's card
