House Manager for a Youth Residential Center ~$1500 Sign-on Bonus

The Supervisor for our Youth Residential Center coordinates and directs the day-to-day operations of the group home.

General Accountabilities

• Evaluates the work of staff to ensure that programs are of appropriate quality and that resources are used effectively
• Monitors care to ensure that it is provided in a safe and therapeutic manner.
• Develops and implements a plan for the orientation, development, and training of staff.
• Meets with residents regularly to discuss and evaluate progress.
• Reviews, investigates, and responds to complaints made by residents or their authorized representative(s).
• Organizes the work of the group home and delegates responsibility to staff members when appropriate.
• Assesses operations and programs and makes recommendations to address identified problems.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with community partners
• Maintains confidential client records.
• Oversees school enrollment and appointment scheduling.
• Works closely with community partners to ensure residents receive necessary services.
• Manages youth care workers and facilitates new hire on-boarding/orientation, reeducating staff as needed.
• Ensures adequate staffing and recruits new employees.
• Communicates with the administrator and case coordinator daily, making sure resident's health needs are addressed.
• Additional duties as required to provide a safe and clean environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of related experience in group home environment
• SCM Certification
• CPR Certification
• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check
