Live-In Nurse

Now hiring Full-Time Live-In Nurse to help with personal care, homemaking and companionship for an elderly couple in Marblehead, Massachusetts.

You have experience in personal care, companionship, cooking and homemaking.  You are expected to live-in client's home and care for their needs based on a 10 hour workday schedule, 7 days a week for an ongoing basis. You are there for 24 hour / 7 days a week support as client needs it with any emergencies. This can be on rotation with 3 days on 4 days off - Flexible for the right person. Must be willing to live in client's home during care.

• For Live-In caregivers, Room and Board is provided by the client while you are on a case.

Essential Functions:

• Delivering exceptional care to the dedicated client in their home
• Help execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans 
• Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs)
• Client assesments of care and Insulin Administration
• Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client by providing ongoing social & emotional support
• Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation
• Keep order, safety and client enjoyment top of mind at all times
• Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed
• Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and report changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability or behavior

Requirements:

• Certified LPN, RN or CMT
• Empathy, compassion and kindness a MUST
• Over the age of 18 & authorized to work in U.S.
• Professional / Character References
• Pass Criminal Background Check
• Show Valid (not expired) Identification
• Bank Account for Direct Deposit
• SmartPhone for Care Plan, Scheduling & Payroll
• Attend & Complete In-Person Orientation
• Must be reliable, dependable and on-time.
• Must have a reliable means of transportation to get to and from work.
