CNC SUPERVISOR Manufacturing firm seeking an experienced and skilled CNC Machining Supervisor to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our machining department. The CNC Machining Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of CNC machine operators, ensuring the production schedule is met, and maintaining the quality and efficiency of the machining processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. Responsibilities: - Supervise and oversee the operations of the CNC machining department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management. - Ensure adherence to production schedules, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources efficiently to meet production goals and customer demands. - Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for CNC machining processes to ensure consistent quality and efficiency. - Train, coach, and mentor CNC machine operators, providing guidance on programming, setup, and troubleshooting. - Conduct regular performance evaluations of CNC machine operators, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs for skills enhancement. - Collaborate with the engineering team to review and optimize machining programs, ensuring the effective utilization of tools, materials, and machines. - Monitor and evaluate machine performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance productivity and reduce downtime. - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among the machining team. - Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule and facilitate preventive maintenance activities for CNC machines, ensuring minimal interruptions to production. - Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and production planning, to resolve any issues related to machining processes or product quality.
