School Psychologist

ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of educational and therapy services, is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist for a contract position in Middleport, NY. If you are passionate about supporting the mental health and well-being of students, we invite you to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify academic, social, and emotional needs of students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement intervention strategies.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' educational plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention strategies and support services.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
• New York state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Previous experience working as a School Psychologist is preferred.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and parents.

Requirements:

• Valid New York state licensure in School Psychology.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and relevant screenings.
