Responsibilities – Service Advisor / Writer:

• Greet customers in a friendly manner when they arrive
• Determine vehicle needs based on customer information and a vehicle walk-around, inspections, and test drives
• Consult with customers on applicable service specials and keep customer informed on completion times and services expenses
• Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers, explaining provisions and exclusions
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles
• Prepare repair order and enter it into service database system
• Set, confirm, and prepare for appointments with customers so they can have a great service experience
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals & the targeted customer satisfaction index
• Follow departmental processes
• Provide a completely satisfied customer experience.

Qualifications/Requirements – Service Advisor / Writer:

• Service Advisor/Writer experience is required
• Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus!
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude
• Good work ethic and computer skills
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
