LEAD BODY SHOP TRUCK PAINTER / TECHNICIAN:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As our lead Body Shop Truck Painter / Technician, you will lead the body shop paint department and ensure that all work is completed in a safe, accurate, and timely manner. As the lead, you are the front line of body and paint quality standards. You will also paint and perform body work on medium and heavy-duty class 6 & 8 trucks, including fiberglass, plastic, finish matching, painting, mixing, tinting and blending. Every day, picture yourself supporting, mentoring, and training a team of truck technicians, working in a shop that has all the equipment and resources you need to perform top-notch work, and knowing that customers can count on you and your crew to get the job done right.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 3 or more years of experience in a lead or supervisor role, including training new technicians.
  • 3 or more years of experience body and refinishing experience.
  • Self-motivation and
  • Ability to work under little or no supervision.
  • Driver’s license with a good driving record. CDL is preferred.
  • Must understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, and OSHA Right-to-Know.
  • Axalta certification is a plus!

 

Compensation: $34-40/hr (Depending on Experience)
