Electrical Utility Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, has partnered with an American company within the electrical utility industry. Looking for an Electrical Utility Technician to work onsite in McAlester, OK.  This is an entry level position providing sustainability, working a 12-month contract with intention to convert to FTE/perm & opportunity for growth.

Client Job Title: Technician Associate Local Construction Admin (LCA)
Location: McAlester, OK 74501
Pay Rate: $25.71/hr. + benefits
Schedule: Fully Onsite, M-F, possible OT as required

The Local and Regional Construction Data Admins (LCA and RCA) are considered one team. Their main goal is to support the capital process by ensuring complete, accurate, and timely documentation of Transmission assets and test records in IPS, the client's Asset Database. To coordinate these activities, they manage the Transmission Capital Project Testing and Commissioning Checklist and work directly with Field personnel to accept data and ensure it is properly entered in IPS.

What's the Job?

• Promptly configure and release project checklists, coordinating with field personnel for accurate release dates.
• Facilitate the review, upload, and scanning of completed checklists, while assisting with print room management.
• Produce and assist with commissioning data entry reports, monitoring and supporting field teams to minimize overdue items.
• Record testing documentation in IPS, review and edit asset data attributes, and assign commissioning actions to new assets.
• Perform IPS data review and cleanup as directed, including gathering equipment information from project prints and field visits as needed.

What's Needed?

• Read and understand schematic drawings
• Two year technical or an Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Civil/ Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field
• Knowledge of utility, electrical or electronic information
• Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
