Registered Nurse - Per Diem/PRN

Currently we are accepting Registered Nurse applications as PRN or Per Diem openings. Shifts are 12-hours and Memorial Hospital pay is above the average for nights and weekends.

New Graduates and Experienced RN's are all encouraged to apply.

Requirements:
IL Registered Nurse License
BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC required.
Must be able to lift 25lbs without assistance, move from sitting to standing and be able to stand and walk for 75% of the shift.
Vaccinations per IDPH, CDC, CMS or Memorial Hospital Policy or an approved exemption.
Experience in Med/Surg Department is helpful.

Job Summary: Provides direct and indirect patient care services under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (unless RN, then under Supervisor). Meets the psychosocial, physical, general and communication needs of patient, infants – adults, and family. Provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of the professional expectations under the supervision of a registered nurse. Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards (CMS, TJC, etc.). Communicates with physicians and team members about changes in patient’s condition. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Performs general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Directly responsible for care provided by nursing assistants assigned to his/her team. Follows and supports Memorial Hospital's Mission, Vision and Service Excellence.
