This individual is integral to the plant’s daily running needs. They will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components. This person may oversee equipment installation and troubleshoot as problems arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, e-plans, and specifications.
• Knowledge of power, controls, automation, and network systems 600 volts and less.
• Ability to track projects and keep up with ordering materials, building a BOM for each Plant project.
• Ability to understand project scope and facility’s needs.
• Must be computer literate and understand the basics of Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to use a VOM meter.
• Ability to run conduit, EMT, Rigid
• Ability to size wire, conduit, and breakers.
• Ability to operate aerial lifts and other mobile equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work on your own.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, pull, reach, stand, squat, and walk throughout 8-12 hours shifts

Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience in electrical trades’
• Journeyman certification preferred
