Basic Purpose/Function:
- Responsible for special sampling and inspection of finished product
- This is a straight day job starting at 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM or later when all of the shipments that require inspections have been inspected
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cut and deliver recheck samples to the lab
- Inspect all loads going out (verify correct labels, product integrity, packaging etc.)
- Walk and confirm all previous day’s production (check labels, bins put away in correct location (901’s), packaging etc.)
- Coordinate with production to have all deficient skids corrected and put away in correct location
- Update the deficient skids spreadsheet when problems are found
- Execute weekly cycle counts
- Cycle counts, truck wait times and complaints report completed monthly
- Additional duties may vary
