We are anticipating several new clients in Texas coming through the pipeline very quickly and our job is to find the right talent now in preparation for the influx. These companies are looking for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) who are looking to work in Lake Jackson, Texas. This is a great opportunity for you if you pride yourself in quality patient care and are looking for a stable schedule or new experience in your career.

The goal of this position - your core purpose and duty - is to provide hemodialysis treatments for dialysis patients in clinics/facilities.

Your daily duties will include…

  • Assist in developing and following teaching plans to educate patients and family regarding end stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medications

  • Administer intravenous medication in accordance with physician orders and state nurse practice laws

  • Perform all technical aspects of dialysis procedures, administer and monitor treatments in accordance with current treatment plan or as directed by supervisor

  • Assist in short term and long term patient care plan meetings to coordination care plans with Physician, Dietitian and Social Worker.

  • Perform and document pre, interim, and post treatment review of patient condition

  • Current Texas LVN license is required

  • Prior Dialysis experience is preferred
