Job Description
A FedEx Ground contractor, has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for full time and part time delivery drivers. WEEKLY PAYCHECK AND BONUSES! See details below!
We are looking for self-motivated, safe, delivery drivers who will provide outstanding service to our customers! Work independently, NO MICROMANAGING!
Terminal Address: 4406 South 19th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51501
The routes are in West Omaha, NE., using a step-style van.
CDL License is NOT required!
Work Hours: 8:30am - Delivery completion (typically 4:00pm).
FULL TIME: Tuesday - Saturday OR Sunday - Thursday
PART TIME: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday OR Saturday, Sunday, & Monday
DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 21 years of age.
- 1+ Year(s) verifiable professional driving experience in last 3 years (Previous experience at Amazon, UPS, FedEx, or DHL is a plus)
- Clean driving record - No accidents or violations in 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
- Iowa drivers licenses MUST be a Class C license.
- Ability to make between 100-220 stops per day.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in all weather conditions.
DELIVERY DRIVER DAY TO DAY DUTIES:
- Deliver and pick up FedEx packages daily w/in the prescribed time windows
- Conduct Pre/Post trip van inspections daily following safety guidelines
- Operate delivery van safely, securely and competently.
- Learn the route(s) and customer needs serviced by our company.
- Report to station prepared to examine and organize daily delivery load before departure.
- Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weight w/o damage to the package or injury to oneself or others.
DELIVERY DRIVER BENEFITS:
- WEEKLY Paycheck
- $150/day Paid Training (Typically lasts 1-2 weeks, depending on experience)
- Salary - Between $150 - $200/day
- Vacation Pay after 1 year
- Holiday Pay after 6 months
- Weekly Bonuses on top of salary!
