Job description

Position Summary

• Responsible for efficient assembly of parts in accordance with customer quality specifications.

Essential Functions

• Locates and installs various components on manufactured products per available work instructions.
• Inspects installed parts to verify functionality, completing any required quality forms/checklists.
• Operates various hand/power tools with precision and attention to detail.
• May be required to use various solvents or adhesives.
• May be required to fabricate jigs or templates for assembly work.
• Performs daily tool inspections and reports any issues to the maintenance supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Required Education & Experience

• HS Diploma/GED preferred or equivalent industrial experience.
• Experience with hand/power tools preferred
• 1 or more years in a Manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Repetitive wrist/arm motion for extended periods of time.
• Good eyesight required for ability to see fine detail work.
• Perform work in awkward positions.
• Ability to wear respirator and protective eye wear.
