Hours of Work : The Candidate shall perform for one rehearsal and one Sunday service per week.

Job Summary: Ladgov Corporation is looking to hire a Traditional Protestant Musician to support the Department of Air Force component , in Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi , MS 39534

Responsibilities:

• Provide instrumental and accompaniment music to support rehearsals and worship services, including congregational and choral selections.
• Be able to proficiently play piano and/or organ in support of a traditional/contemporary style worship service.
• Coordinate with the Traditional Service Music Director and Traditional Service Chaplain to play selections appropriate for Sunday worship and special programs.

Qualifications:

• Two (2) years’ experience performing worship and music services for a Protestant church/chapel.

• Active membership/attendance at a Protestant church/chapel with a letter of endorsement from their current pastor/chaplain.

• An advanced familiarity with a variety of musical genres, and be able to demonstrate the ability to read sheet music and/or possess basic improvisational skills.
