Job Description

Job Overview:
Assist Human Resource Manager in aspects of human resources activities. Serve as a bridge between upper
management and production staff.


Job Responsibilities including but are not limited to:
• Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with
supervisors and/or managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Support the HR manager with all aspects of Human Resources administration.
• Conduct exit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.
• Conduct employee orientations, in-services, and trainings. Ensure proper implementation of performance
evaluation programs.
• Assist with staffing schedules while tracking and monitoring employee time off and overtime.
• Ensure all practices according to the Handbook are in place, including granting Benefits, Discipline, etc.
• Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex
and/or sensitive matters to the HR manager.
• Have regular communication with employees to ensure morale is held at high standard, motivate staff, etc.
• Ensure the implementation, communication, monitoring and evaluation of the HR and Company
Strategies, Policies, and procedures.
• Advise supervisors and employees on all HR matters including incentives, benefits, wellness, health and
safety and training programs.
• Assist in the implementation of the Safety Program is in place, and people are engaged.
• Ensure Key relations are developed and sustained with outside agencies, Government, OSHA, Technical
Schools, etc.
• Analyze organizational needs and identify opportunities and risks to reach the Company's objectives.
• Collect and analyze data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries,
candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
Education, Experience, and Skills
• Associate Degree in Human Resources or related business field
• 2-4 years HR experience required
• At least one year of recruiting experience in a manufacturing setting helpful.
• Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including temperature extremes from approximately 32oF to
100F; noise levels more than 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
• Frequently required to walk; stand.
• Work in different shifts.
