Registered Nurse

We are currently looking for a RN supervisor who has the ability to work 40 hours per week in our congregate facility. The RN is responsible for overseeing staff and participating in providing quality care to the patients, assuring that policy/procedures and regulations pertaining to title 22 are followed and charts are neat and organized. Delivers direct care by administering IV medications, assessments in emergent situations and follow through with physicians.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Research protocols and established policies and procedures, under the supervision of Medical Director.
• Evaluate nursing care provided, document and communicate appropriately nursing actions taken.
• Delegate tasks and supervise the activities of other licensed and unlicensed care providers.
• Assist other nursing personnel in the delivery of care and serves as team leader.
• Participate in own professional development by maintaining required competencies, identifying learning needs and seeking appropriate assistance or educational offerings.
• Support the development of other staff and formal learners.
• Participate in the identification of clinical, operational and safety related performance improvement opportunities.
• Transcription of monthly physician orders
• Must be available to administer IV medications as needed
• Will need to be available for on call issues that may arise in facility
• Ability to record activities, document assessments, plan of care, interventions, evaluation and re-evaluation of patient status
• Ability to navigate the entity to provide protocol driven care to the patient

Requirement:  Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.

• Must have current or compact RN license in the State of California
