TITLE: Manufacturing Staff (mixing team)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manufacturing Staff are responsible for the preparation, mixing and boxing of products. Staff are required to follow governmental regulations to ensure the finished product is made in accordance with food safety guidelines (GMPs).

· Operation of various machines and equipment with a focus on Mixing

· Measuring ingredients and monitoring mixing status

· Conducting QA tests and reporting findings to manager

· Reporting changes in machinery to manager

· Packing and palletizing final products

· Cleaning equipment according to standards

· Filling out production paperwork

• May be required to lift up to 50lbs

· Communicate effectively with coworkers

· Use Forklift and pallet jack to move ingredients and finished products

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
