LPN/Office Nurse

The clinical office nurse functions under the supervision, guidance, and orders of the healthcare provider and participates in the multi-disciplinary process of providing patient care and treatment in the clinic setting.  The clinical office nurse is responsible for functioning within the scope of practice dictated by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and Department of Health and Human Services. The clinical office nurse must be able to work independently under standing orders from the provider and is seen as an extension of the healthcare provider. The clinical office nurse must be able to manage a fast paced demanding workload with accuracy and employ time management skills. This position requires excellent clinical skills as well as interpersonal skills that will enable the nurse to work with patients and their families, as well as other staff, providers, vendors, and the general public.
