Vehicle Test Engineer

Dynamic Research, Inc., a high-tech applied research firm based in Torrance, CA has an immediate opening for an analytically-oriented Test Engineer to work in the automotive industry.

Assignments will include

• Conducting instrumented dynamic and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) vehicle testing at our proving grounds near Bakersfield, CA and occasionally at the proving grounds of our clients (may at times involve night and weekend testing)
• Instrumenting and preparing vehicles for testing
• Writing test reports
• Developing test software
• Analyzing data
• Designing new test equipment

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 0 – 5 years of engineering experience
• Familiarity with MATLAB
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong automotive interest
• US citizen or permanent resident

Strongly desired

• Experience with CAD
• Background in Dynamics and Control
• Familiarity with automotive sensors and data acquisition
• Motorsports interest, including performance driving experience
