Located among the woods and mountains of the Williamsburg, PA, countryside, Cove Forge Behavioral Health System is a residential treatment center for adults who are struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. * Basic computer knowledge for emails/charting
*Responsibilities:*
* Act as liaison between managed care organizations and the facility professional clinical staff
* Monitor patient length of stay and extensions and inform clinical and medical staff on issues that may impact length of stay
* Conduct quality reviews for medical necessity and services provided
* Initiate and complete formal appeal process for denied admissions or continued stay
* Assist the admissions department pre-certifications of care
