Position Overview:

We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator for a 6-month contract position with the potential for conversion based on performance. This role requires onsite presence in Newark, DE. The ideal candidate will have a few years of experience in healthcare, with a preference for renal experience. We are looking for someone who is sharp, eager to learn, and comfortable working directly with patients.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

General Administrative:

- Mastery of Senior Clinical Research Associate duties and responsibilities.

- Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), GCP, and all regulatory practices.

- In-depth understanding and implementation of study protocols.

- Identification and enrollment of potential study participants.

- Maintenance of study site files and participant records.

- Advocacy for human subjects through transparent communication and education.

Conduct of Research:

- Review and accuracy assessment of source document templates.

- Performance of protocol-required tasks such as medical history review, phlebotomy, and EKG.

- Reporting of adverse events and subject safety issues.

- Preparation and submission of regulatory documents.

- Administration and monitoring of investigational products.

- Maintenance of environmental integrity for investigational products.

Financial Management:

- Coordination of site study subject stipend disbursement.

- Submission of appropriate billing charge documents for reimbursement.

Education:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience and Required Skills:

- 2+ years of healthcare experience, with renal experience preferred.

- Research experience is a plus.

- Willingness to pursue CCRC or SoCRA certification when eligible.

- Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office applications.

- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently.
